Wellness Program: Zoom in on the Collection
- Engage, connect and be inspired!
Sign up and join us in the research and development of MAC’s new wellbeing programs. We’re looking for participants to help us develop online workshops that engage and connect through discussion and artmaking, inspired by MAC’s collection.
These relaxed, safe & friendly sessions take place online via ZOOM.
No special software or prior art experience required, just a readiness to respond to the art. All that is needed to join is access to the internet, a computer or device with a built-in camera and microphone plus simple art materials such as paper, pencils, pens, glue, scissors, and magazines, whatever you can find. Have fun supporting your local community develop art and wellbeing programs at MAC!
Mondays and Fridays 2 x hour sessions.
This is a wellness program and partnership project with Dr Helena Bezzina from Western Sydney University. The purpose of the study is to better understand how programs within galleries and museums can play a role in supporting community health and wellbeing. The focus of the program is the social connection. Participants connect via a video Zoom meeting, view artworks from the Lake Mac Cultural Collection, and engage in very relaxed discussion and self-directed artmaking.
