Lake House Artist Residency

The Lake House Artist Residency program is an initiative of Lake Macquarie City Council. It offers artists, curators and creatives the space and time to create and develop new work.

MAC yapang is committed to supporting Hunter-based artists. Expressions of interest from artists, curators, groups or touring agents seeking an exhibition, or proposing ideas for an exhibition for the program are welcomed.

Young Dobell competition 2025

Young Dobell art competition returns in 2025! Artists aged 5-18 are invited to create a portrait of a significant person or pet, or a landscape of a special place. This art competition is open to residents of Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, the Hunter, and the Central Coast
