Discover the magic of cyanotype printing, also known as sun prints, one of the oldest photographic processes in the world.

Learn how to create beautiful blue and white prints using sunlight and water.

During this workshop you will design your prints using botanical plants and found objects from around our Sculpture Garden, and watch in wonder as your artwork develops on light sensitive paper and fabric while being exposed to the sun.

As each print is handmade, tones will give subtle variations ranging from light blue hues to deep indigos. Each person will make at least 2 or 3 prints to take home.

Materials provided. Ideas welcome.

No experience necessary, this is an adult open age class, beginners welcome.

BYO hat and water bottle, and snacks if you like.
