MAC yapang and Three Bears Café will reopen to the public from Tuesday 12 October in line with the NSW Government’s roadmap for the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. We are taking pre-cautions to ensure the safety of the community and advise visitors to review our COVID-19 measures prior to visiting the art museum.
The Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie, yapang (MAC yapang) is uniquely positioned within 5 hectares of leafy grounds on the shore of Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest salt-water lake. The award-winning art museum has a cafe, retail shop, sculpture park and mosaic pathways. MAC yapang is an ideal destination for visitors. Guided tours are available for small and large groups. Admission to MAC yapang is free.
We’re thrilled to welcome you back, but it's important to note that your experience at MAC will be a little different than usual. We are adhering to the latest guidelines from NSW Health.
