School and Group Visits to the Archibald Prize

School Visits

MAC yapang has dedicated sessions during the Archibald Prize 2022 regional tour to cater for school group visits. 

Bookings are now available for schools. Monday sessions are preferred but please contact the MAC team to discuss alternative arrangements.

School holiday programs and home school groups are welcome.

Important information:

• Sessions are capped at 100 participants (including teachers) per time slot
• Depending on the number of participants booked there may be more than one school per timeslot.
• Tickets must be booked a minimum of 2 days prior to visiting
• Please plan to arrive 5-10mins before your allocated timeslot and wait outside the MAC yapang entrance for our Learning team to greet your group.
• Where possible please exit via the MAC terrace and pathway to car park
• Where possible please encourage students to leave bags etc behind
• Food and drink are not permitted in the exhibition space.

Group Tours

Guided group tours are available on request and are bookable by clicking the book now button below. Discounts apply for groups of 10 people or more, and guided or self-guided tour options are available. Guided tours are available for online bookings only.

Daily guided tours will be provided at 11am and ticket holders for this session are welcome to join the tour.
