Finalists announced for Lake Art Prize 2022

Lake Art Prize 2022 Finalists

The Museum of Art and Culture, yapang (MAC yapang) is thrilled to announce the finalists for the Lake Art Prize 2022.

MAC yapang received nearly 400 entries from across Australia, with a total of 67 entrants shortlisted as finalists.

The winner and highly commended works will be announced before the opening of the finalist exhibition on 24 September.

Lake Macquarie Council have committed $25,000 to acquire the winning artwork and highly commended works for the MAC yapang collection.

The finalist exhibition will take place between 24 September - 11 December 2022. 

Shortlisted artworks reflected each artists practice across all media and can take any form, including (without limitation) sculpture, painting, drawing, photomedia, installation, sound, fibre arts and a single piece or multi-piece artwork.
