Expressions of Interest open for First Class 21

The Museum of Art and Culture yapang (MAC yapang) welcomes expressions of interest for the First Class 21 exhibition.
 
Now in its 14th year, this much-anticipated annual project celebrates the high calibre of work produced by Higher School Certificate Visual Arts students from the Hunter and Central Coast regions. This is a fully curated exhibition and artworks will be selected by guest curators, based on themes that emerge from the nominations.
 
Selected works will be on view as part of the First Class 21 exhibition from 26 February – 8 May 2022.

 

Key dates:

  • EOI application process closes: 3pm, Wednesday 27 October 2021
  • Notification to school and nominee of selection via email: By Monday 29 November 2021
  • Delivery of work to MAC yapang: Thurs 14/ Fri 15 January 2021
  • Exhibition dates: Saturday 26 February – Sunday 8 May 2022
  • Collection of artwork from MAC yapang: Wed 11/Thurs 12/Fri 13 May 2022
