Made through a collaboration between Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery and Western Plains Cultural Centre, Dubbo, the core of the exhibition is drawn from the collection of Western Plains Cultural Centre augmented by works from Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery’s collection alongside works from the collections of Newcastle Art Gallery, private collectors, artists, and private gallerists.
Wild Side also features new work made by Hunter-based artist Peter Gardiner during an artist residency at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, supported by both partner galleries.
