White Gums and Ramoxes: Ceramics by Merric and Arthur Boyd

Arthur Boyd aged three years old by Merric Boyd.JPG

This exhibition highlights the connection between Merric Boyd, the ‘father of Australian studio pottery’ and his son Arthur Boyd, the iconic Australian artist. Merric explored local flora and fauna, while Arthur’s ‘ramox’ was typical of his interest in metamorphosed and hybrid figures.
