MAC yapang and Three Bears Cafe will be closed on Thursday 25 April for ANZAC Day. We will resume normal hours (Tues - Sun 9am - 3pm) on Friday 26 April.
Sustainable and successful living is about how we interact with the world; it’s about kindness shown to our natural world and the kindness shown to each other. As part of our Big Draw celebrations this year we invited local students and families to create their own ‘paper people kindness pledge’.
Each participant drew a self-portrait in the middle of the template, and a family member or friend on each side. They were asked to make a pledge to help make a positive environmental or social change in the world. They wrote their kindness pledge on the back of their paper people and carried out their kind acts at school, at home and in the community.
This project started remotely during lock down and continued at MAC yapang during our weekly ARTSPACE programs in October. We invite you to add a pledge to the project wall and MAKE CHANGE happen by spreading kindness.
