Billy Missi’n Wakain Thamai
Billy Missi'n Wakain Thamai is a national touring exhibition presented by NorthSite Contemporary Arts in partnership with Torres Strait Regional Authority’s Gab Titui Cultural Centre (TSRA), and toured by Museums & Galleries QLD.
This profound exhibition honours the late Torres Strait Islander artist Billy Missi (1970-2012). It brings together over fifty of the artist’s most significant and iconic prints, including rare and never-before-exhibited monoprints, etchings, and linoprints from Djumbunji Fine Art Press and private collections.
Tricia Flanagan: LANDRELATIONS
Using traditional and future crafting technology, international artist Tricia Flanagan creates sculptural organic environmental devices to reveal the intelligence of natural systems and promote ecologies of empathy.
