TITMARSH - 1999.58.JPG

This exhibition comprises a strong core group selected from the gallery’s Charlestown Square Acquisitive Art Prize collection and illustrates important themes in Australian contemporary art of the late 1980s. These themes include appropriation from art history, the use of figuration and narrative, the exploration of personal history, and the relationships humans have with the natural and built environment.
