Selected to a curatorial theme from 2012 HSC submissions in the Hunter and Central Coast, First Class 12 explores the student artists’ serious involvement in the development of their own art practices.
Now in its fifth year, First Class is Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery’s established annual exhibition project celebrating the high calibre of work produced by Higher School Certificate Visual Arts students from the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
The exhibition is selected from school-nominated works produced in the previous year. First Class showcases a diversity of media and techniques, representative of the enormous scope of the NSW HSC Visual Arts syllabus.
