Showcasing the quality and diversity of outstanding major works by HSC Visual Arts students from the Hunter & Central Coast.
Popular culture, media and identity are the habitus of youth. Through the embodied activity of representing their world through images, students engage and connect with their own and others’ realities. The First Class project provides an opportunity to observe how making artworks is a legitimate way to challenge assumptions about existence, reason and the contemporary worldview, and to explore the identities of youth.
