Celebrating emerging artists from the current Bachelor of Creative Practice and Newcastle Art School, Hunter Street who practice within the mediums of painting, printmaking and mixed media. This exhibition provides a platform for graduating students to exhibit and promote their work in a significant cultural institution, reaching a wider audience.
The highly regarded degree program focuses on entrepreneurial skills and engaging a more contemporary practice. In 2022 Newcastle Art School was the first TAFE NSW campus in New South Wales to successfully graduate students from this degree.
Newcastle Art School is engaging with its community through gallery exhibitions and social media to build an Art School of excellence of which Newcastle can be proud. Its function and vision is to support the adage that in a challenging world 'art matters'.
