Online Resources and Activities

MAC's Online Resources

Activities can be made out of materials most households would have in their cupboards or recycling bins.

In collaboration with Lake Mac Libraries, we’ve launched a new YouTube channel to allow both children and adults to engage with art.

These videos will include art tutorials and activities for kids, plus artist interviews and other educational content for adults. We’ll be adding more videos each week as we continue to develop new content – so be sure to subscribe to our channel so you don’t miss out!

In addition to our new video series, we’re also developing a range of online resources which will allow parents and kids to create art at home.

As part of this, we’ve created ARTSPACE@HOME (ages 2-8) and MAKERSPACE@HOME (Ages 8+) to help encourage kids to get creative. These programs are designed with creativity and sustainability in mind, with activities simply requiring the use of everyday household items (such as milk bottles).

This page will be updated regularly as new activities and resources are added.
