Constructing urban environments at a School Holiday workshop.

Dear MAC Supporters,

Our main priority is to ensure the safety of everyone in the community and our staff members during the rapidly-developing COVID-19 situation. Following advice from NSW Health, the Museum of Art and Culture will be closed to the public until further notice. All programs and activities run by MAC have also been suspended. All paid activities will be refunded in full. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as possible.

Over the coming weeks, we will develop digital tools and resources (such as ARTSPACE @ HOME)  to allow community members to continue to engage with MAC. Please stay a part of the conversation with all the latest information and resources available on our website and via our social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram). We appreciate your understanding in this difficult time and hope to see you back at MAC as soon as circumstances allow.

Further Information

For more information please contact our team via email mac@lakemac.nsw.gov.au or phone 02 4921 0382.

We have developed ART SPACE @ HOME so you and your little one can engage with art and be inspired to create.

Creativity and sustainably is key with the materials used for all our online ARTSPACE projects. We have tried to create projects that can be made out of things most households would have in their cupboards or recycling bins.

Each week we will feature a simple art making activity with an extension for older children to build their skills and understanding. See our ONLINE ACTIVITIES page.
