In response to stay at home orders issued by the NSW Government, MAC and the Sculpture Cafe will be closed until further notice.
As part of a commitment to offering skill development opportunities in the creative industries and supporting cultural practice, Lake Macquarie City Council is currently offering two funded Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts placements for emerging arts and cultural professionals.
In 2021 the following roles are being offered:
The successful applicants will work closely with the Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie, yapang (MAC yapang) and Multi Arts Pavilion Lake Macquarie, mima (MAP mima) teams on specific exhibition projects and will be encouraged to develop strong community and professional links throughout the placement.
